In Love

"My philosophy"

To have my paintings offer some "bling" with each creation.  This addition gives it a little something extra that makes them stand out from your traditional painting event.

"My vision"

Maybe there's a touch of glitter added to let the moon shine or to make the snow glisten. It brings to life a starlite sky by dabbing on some gems.  Flowers popping off the canvas or the delicate touch of a soft feather. Whatever it may be it makes your beautiful painting unique!

I Love To Paint!

Color to Canvas began for me as a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis.

This disease is close to my heart because my two grandchildren, Sadie and Wyatt were born with it.

I soon found that I loved painting. Giving others a chance to help with a cause or charity that is close to their hearts and taking away a painting that they painted themselves to remind them of the event was priceless! The ideas of connecting with family and friends while relaxing and enjoying their company sent me on a path to create my company.

Just relax, breathe and let your paints flow!

Fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis was the inspiration for Colors to Canvas. We give a percentage of our profits from every painting event to the Mighty Mighty Murnans Team to help support in finding a cure.

Cindy Ricks

I am happily married with four grown children, two-step children and eight grandchildren. In addition to managing Colors to Canvas I also work for a school teaching math to autistic children. This is a job I have found to be most fulfilling for the past 20 years.

Sadie and Wyatt

Meet my grandchildren. Sadie is 8 years old and in the second grade. Wyatt is 7 years old and in the first grade. They were born with Cystic Fibrosis.  Cystic Fibrosis is a genic disease that currently has no cure. Life expectancy is 40 but sadly most do not see that age. I pray always for a cure.
